Filling the cooling liquid

NOTICE! Wet machining without sufficient cooling liquid will result in tool damage and poor machining results.

  1. If you have previously used dry machining, switch to wet machining:

  2. If there is cooling liquid in the cooling liquid tank, empty and clean the cooling liquid tank:

  3. NOTICE! Have cooling liquid on hand that meets the following requirements:

    • Drinking water
    • No added chlorine
    • No distilled water
    • No carbonated water
  4. Open the working chamber door.

  5. Pull the cooling liquid tank out of the machine.

  6. Remove the coarse filter mat from the cooling liquid tank.

     

     

  7. Fill the cooling liquid tank with cooling liquid until it reaches the max mark.

    If the fine filter mat in the cooling liquid tank is dry, soak it under running water.

     

     

  8. Insert the coarse filter mat into the cooling liquid tank.

  9. Push the cooling liquid tank into the machine until it clicks into place.
