Testing the measuring sensor

dentalcnc helps you test the functionality of the measuring sensor.

There are 2 ways to check the measuring sensor:

  • Manually by pressing it down and observing if the icon in dentalcnc is highlighted. This can be done by every user.
  • Automatically with the corresponding test function in dentalcnc. This requires the access level Service.

Testing the measuring sensor manually

  1. Move the axes marked with the following icon to their default position:

  2. Open the working chamber door.

  3. Open machine management with the following icon in the Main icon bar:

  4. Select the Diagnostics and repair tab.

  5. In the left column, scroll to the Digital inputs section.

  6. Press the measuring sensor down.

    • The indicator next to the Measuring sensor entry should be highlighted as shown:

  7. Release the measuring sensor.

    • The indicator should no longer be highlighted:

  8. Repeat the last steps 2 multiple times and verify that the outcome is always as described.

  • Contact the customer service department of your vhf service partner.
