New icons for external and internal compressed air sources
dentalcnc now uses an icon in the job archive to indicate whether an external or internal compressed air source was used for the job. No icon is displayed for machines that do not use compressed air.
Your benefit
More information about job parameters.
Machine serial numbers can now be copied to the clipboard
You can now copy the serial number of the current machine to the clipboard. To do this, select the icon to the right of the machine name at the top of the Manufacturing view.
Your benefit
Quick and error-free transmission of the serial number, e.g., to customer service.
Improved user guidance
The redesign of UI elements and more precise text have improved the user experience, particularly in the following areas:
-
Service function Measure measuring sensor.
-
General notice regarding machines that are not operational.
-
Pop-up window indicating a missing software license.
Your benefit
Easier operation and more precise information.
Protection against shared data folders for jobs
Until now, it was possible to configure the same folder for the exchange folder for dentalcam jobs, NC data, and trimcam jobs. This could cause dentalcnc to behave unexpectedly.
From now on, dentalcnc will prevent you from entering the same folder for this purpose.
Please also note that the import folder for NC data may only contain NC files and image files associated with the job.
Your benefit
Process-reliable import of job data.
Protection against unauthorized access to the machine in service mode
When service personnel operated machines in service mode, it was previously possible for users to send commands to the machine via other dentalcnc computers.
dentalcnc now disconnects computers in user mode and only allows the connection to be reestablished when no computers in service mode are connected anymore.
Your benefit
Safe execution of service calls.
Job archive
-
Previously, if you restored and restarted a job from the job archive, the CAM folder was no longer available for the new entry in the job archive. This behavior has been corrected. If dentalcnc still has access to the job data, you can open the folder by clicking the CAM folder button.
-
When a date was entered in the job archive, dentalcnc did not display only the jobs that were manufactured on that date. This behavior has been corrected.
