Program components
dentalcnc uses a client-server architecture.

dentalcnc (Client) This Windows program provides the user interface that you interact with. It runs on a standard Windows PC (dentalcnc computer).
dentalcnc communicates with the server program to control the machine.

Machine software
The machine software includes programs and data for machine control.

Server program The server program receives commands from dentalcnc and converts them into machine commands.
The server program runs on the following devices:

On the interface computer of appropriately equipped machines.

On the dentalcnc machine itself for machines without an interface computer.

Data exchange
dentalcam 9 and dentalcnc 9 are connected to myvhf and the vhf cloud via the Internet. To operate dentalcam 9 and dentalcnc 9, the programs and the machine must therefore be linked withmyvhf.
This results in a data exchange as shown in the following diagram:
